Life Enrichment Programming

At the Scotland House your voice, personal interest, and choices are an integral part of your care.  Life enrichment programs are tailored to what our participants are interested in and are adapted to meet individual needs.

The Scotland House program understands that not every person wants to participate or enjoys group activities. Individual choices will be respected and there will be different activities available to keep people engaged, that will not interfere with their decision to spend time independently.

Transportation is available from the Thompson Center in Woodstock, VT within their catchment area to and from the Scotland House.

A daily lunchtime meal is provided for each participant, along with snacks and beverages throughout the day.  Lunch will be provided by The Thompson Senior Center in Woodstock, VT.  Dietary restrictions and sensitivities, allergies, and preferences will always be adhered to.  The Scotland House does have a small service kitchen where we will be preparing snacks, special meal requests, and other smaller items.

Caregiver Support

Our program also provides respite, support, and education to family members, caregivers, and legal representatives.
